God Wants You to be Prosperious…

Many times i run into people who are still crippled by the dis-empowering thoughts that being wealthy, prosperous or living in abundance is wrong. I saw a guy the other day with a tattoo of a hand holding a wad of cash and under it said “The root of all evil”. Unfortunately that poor guy has it ALL wrong…and he will NEVER have a lot of money (or at least he won’t earn it the right way) because his thoughts will sabotage him every time.

You can’t live or act in a manner that is inconsistent with your dominant beliefs. How the heck can you become wealthy if you believe the root of all evil comes from money? You can’t because subconsciously you’ll mind will not let you. You have to develop a good attitude and thoughts regarding money if you want to make a lot more of it.

Let me address one more common misconception. Many people also believe that making a lot of money “changes” people. As though money makes you evil…or changes you to bring out the worst in a person. It makes them do things they wouldn’t normally do. That is completely incorrect. …and if that has happened to you or someone you know, here’s the truth and a wake up call.

“Money simply brings out more of the true character of a person”

If you’re a loving, giving and good hearted person than more money will only bring out more of that in you. BUT if you’re a selfish, prideful and egotistical moron..than that is what money will bring out of you. It’s really simply a “character enhancer”. The wake up call is that if you didn’t know you were a very selfish or prideful person and you got an increase in money and it “changed” the way you act…well let that serve as a chance for you to work on your heart because it’s not where it’s supposed to be. It’s time you start reading, listening to, watching and hanging out with better people and things.

Now for the title of this post…of course God wants you to be wealthy and to have your cup overflowong, BUT he only wants it if you can handle it. If you can’t hang in character than you’re not qualified. It starts with the internal.

“every branch that bears fruit he prunes that it may bear more fruit” ~ John 15:2 “By this my father in heaven is glorified that you bear much fruit so you will be my diciples” John 15:8

God want good stewards to raise up to make a difference in the world. Are you going to be one of them?

He Makes his Ministers A Flame of Fire…

Psalm 104:4 says that “He makes his ministers a flame of fire”.

When I was first given the title “Fired Up Phil ~ The Minister of Success” I had no clue about this verse. It’s actually talking about his angels and is explained more in Hebrews 1 but God laid it upon my heart. He said you are anointed with fire to minister success.

Not only are God’s angels ministering spirits but his followers are called to be too. This does not just mean pastors and preachers, etc. You are called as well. So what the heck is a minister then anyway? Good question…since many people totally misunderstand its meaning.

The word “minister” comes from the word “laos” (people) and “ergon” (work). It means “working for people”. In the Greek it’s the word (diakonia) referring to “serviceable labor”. A minister is someone who serves and assists people. It is God’s will for everyone to do that. The closer you get to him the more he will reveal where he wants you to minister (serve).

Even Jesus came to serve.  “Finding a way to serve the many leads to greatness”.  Once you discover what your passionate about and you find a way to serve the many using it…life gets good. 

Here’s the cool part…could you imagine if everyone lived with the heart of “giving” like a minister. Yeah the world would be a MUCH better place. And don’t worry of course you could still receive also,…there’s nothing wrong with that. In order for someone to give there has to be a receiver as well.

Unfortunately though, many people are poor at this which leads to lack and struggle. This will doom you to poverty until you change. Don’t worry, I’m preaching to myself here too. Most people including me were not raised with a prosperity consciousness, it has to be learned and requires reprogramming. This is a whole other topic for another day. You can check out =>
